New Wii U Deluxe Set launching with Mario and Luigi

Standard

On November 1st, Nintendo is set to launch the new Wii U Deluxe Set, which will put all its focus on value, with a retail price of $299.99, and will feature two of the biggest names in Nintendo history on one game disc: Mario and Luigi. The two games featuring the brothers will be New Super Mario Bros. U, and New Super Luigi U. The set will replace the current deluxe set, which included the hit game Nintendo Land. Fans who still want to purchase the game will be able to buy it separately in stores or as a download in the Nintendo eShop for about $29.99. This new Nintendo Wii U Deluxe Set looks to focus on the company’s two most iconic characters while bringing attention to the high octane adventure of both games, the new dynamics on the Wii U system, and giving each character it’s own feel when playing, so that each game is unique and fun to play.

Look for the new Wii U Deluxe Set to hit shelves on November 1st, 2013!

Out of the blue, the latest issue of Famitsu Weekly greets us with a brand new interview with Series Director Tetsuya Nomura. He takes the opportunity to relay some more information regarding the two recently announced and most anticipated titles in the series, Kingdom Hearts 3 and HD 2.5 ReMix.

Although the scans have yet to surface, various members of the community have begun posting the important bits and pieces. Zephyr has translated them below. We’ll update this post as more information surfaces.

Tetsuya Nomura:

“These attractions, which is currrently in development, are the evolution of KH3D’s Flowmotion and they can be selected according to particular enemies. These are a small portion of these new elements."

"In Kingdom Hearts 3, Sora learns three new abilities. Two of which are special abilities and one that changes the Keyblade. It has the motif of Disney attractions, the Keyblade changes different depending which Keyblade is equipped, and the special abilities, evolved from KH3D’s flowmotion, are activated depending which enemy it is.”

We are working diligently to brush up 2.5 much more than 1.5.”

“The trailer we showed of Kingdom Hearts 3 isn’t its true quality and we will continue to update it. Sora has three new skills and they are categorized into two parts: Changing the Keyblade’s form and abilities that reflect attractions. The Keyblade style changes according to the Keyblade equipped.”

Review: Batman Arkham Origins Mobile Game

Standard

With only two days left until the release of the highly anticipated Batman: Arkham Origins, we here at On Request Magazine thought we’d take this opportunity to review the recently released IOS and Android game Batman: Arkham Origins Mobile Game.

The game is a simple brawler game, but it sure has some great action and wonderful graphics for mobile devices. The game follows a younger Batman as he faces down an array of assassins from the console game coming up, such as Deathstroke, Deadshot, Firefly, Cooperhead, and Bane. The game follows the same outline as Batman Arkham City: Lockdown, where instead of exploring the city of Gotham in an open-world setting, the city is divided into four sections, and you fight different battles in each section until you face the boss of that specific section.

The game is a lot of fun, and the simple control system and tie-in to the story is simply wonderful. With the IOS and Android game free to play, this game is a must have, and it’s so fun. Check it out now and be ready to play the story driven, free-roaming game Batman: Arkham Origins this Friday.
